🏋️ Gym Manager
Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Gym Manager to oversee all aspects of our facility in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and customer service skills, a passion for fitness, and the ability to manage operations, staff, and sales effectively to ensure member satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily gym operations, ensuring the facility is clean, safe, and fully operational for members and staff.
- Manage and motivate the fitness staff (trainers, front desk, and maintenance), including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Drive membership sales and retention by developing and implementing effective marketing and promotional strategies.
- Manage facility budget, inventory, and equipment maintenance to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
- Handle member inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with current fitness trends, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sports Management, Kinesiology, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the fitness, retail, or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent command of English and Odia/Hindi (for local communication).
- Deep knowledge of fitness principles, equipment, and safety standards.
Preferred Skills (The “Bonus Points”)
- Certification in Personal Training or Group Fitness (e.g., ACE, NASM).
- Experience with gym management software and billing systems.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
